August: A Season of Rest

August has been a quiet and slower month for us—a season of rest, prayer, and drawing closer to the Lord through His word. After a busy season of traveling and serving, we are incredibly grateful that God has given us this time to slow down, reset, and simply spend time with Him.

As much as we have enjoyed the quiet, we also know it is only a short season. Just around the corner is a much bigger adventure as we prepare to spend three months in Guatemala. We know God has big plans ahead, and we want to be intentional about preparing our hearts just as much as we prepare everything else.

The enemy has certainly tried to bring distractions and discouragement lately, especially as we know something big is ahead. But instead of allowing those things to pull us away, we are choosing to draw closer to God, lean into His Word, and listen for what He is saying.

September will be a busy month of a different kind. We’ll spend much of our time visiting friends and family, soaking up time with the people we love, and making all the necessary preparations for Guatemala. There is still plenty to do, but we are excited for every step along the way.

More than anything, we are incredibly thankful for the people who have supported us throughout this journey. Every prayer, donation, encouragement, and act of support has helped make it possible for us to continue saying “yes” to where God is calling us.

We are excited. We are expectant. And we are trusting God with what is ahead.

Guatemala is just around the corner, and we cannot wait to see what God has in store. 🇬🇹❤️

Let's Just Go!
