We’re so excited to be home for a short season, taking time to rest, reset, pray, and begin preparing our hearts and bags for our next adventure: Sri Lanka! This time in between missions has been really intentional for us. It’s a chance to reflect on all that God has done, seek His direction for what’s next, and step forward in obedience. We were also so blessed to celebrate our one-year anniversary this month! This past year has been full of joy, and I’m incredibly honored to be married to such a God-fearing man. Marriage is truly a beautiful gift that God designed, and we’re so grateful to walk through life together.

At church this week, we wrapped up a series called “This Changes Everything,” and the message centered on what it means to be an ambassador for Jesus. That idea has really stuck with us. Being an ambassador isn’t complicated—it looks like simply going. Going where the Lord leads. Going to share the gospel. Going to love people well, to be kind, and to give whatever we have to offer. It’s about saying yes to the opportunities God places right in front of us and trusting Him with the rest.

That’s the posture we’re carrying into this next season. As we prepare for Sri Lanka, our prayer is not only that God would use us, but that our journey might encourage others to step out in faith too. Your “going” might look different than ours—and that’s the beauty of it. It could be a mission trip, or it could be something as simple as showing up to work with joy, blessing a stranger, or extending generosity in everyday moments.

Wherever it is, however it looks, just go.
